IT Export: KPI MONITOR at Startup Village 2026
ProfItProject CEO Sergey Khodzhaev spoke at Startup Village 2026, highlighting the importance of acceleration programs for structuring IT export deliveries. MEC has helped three thousand IT companies in recent years, with export volume in this sector more than doubling.
Sergey Khodzhaev, CEO of ProfItProject, took part in the key technology event Startup Village 2026, which was held as part of the Moscow Entrepreneurship Week. The expert shared practical recommendations on IT companies' entry into foreign markets. The discussion focused on systematic measures to support exporters. As noted by Vitaly Stepanov, CEO of the Moscow Export Center (MEC), over the past few years the organization has helped about three thousand IT companies, conducted 700 events, and the export volume in this sector more than doubled last year as a result of the support programs.

Speaking before the participants, Sergey Khodzhaev, head of ProfItProject-Plus (KPI MONITOR), emphasized the importance of acceleration programs for systematizing export supplies. According to him, it is precisely a structured approach and competent process management that allow IT companies not merely to close one-off deals but to secure stable foreign contracts. "Acceleration helps transform chaotic client acquisition into a clear sales funnel in international markets. This is critically important for systematic business scaling," Sergey Khodzhaev underscored.

Other discussion participants also shared successful cases:
- Vladimir Komarov (Orbsoft) recommended starting with participation in specialized exhibitions.
- Anastasia Soboleva (MainsLab) supported the thesis on the importance of systematic acceleration.
- Irina Danilovich (NtechLab) and Alexander Buravtsov (INNO) noted the decisive role of personal contacts with foreign partners.
- Ivan Dronov, MEC ambassador in Indonesia, made a separate presentation on the prospects for IT export development in that region.
Moscow is currently the largest supplier of IT services abroad (accounting for 56% of Russia's total exports in this sector). Supporting the export direction remains a strategic task for the development of the capital's foreign economic activity. Export with MEC is simple, and new markets are closer than they seem.
